Ronald McDonald House in New York is set to host 28th Annual Gala

We are proud to announce that our Ronald McDonald house in New York will host its 28th Annual Gala virtually amid the pandemic. The program will take place on Nov. 16 at 7:00 p.m. and will be covered by ABC 7 New York News. Our Annual Gala raises critical funds to support the families in the fight against pediatric cancer. 

We have continued our support in the fight against pediatric cancer after the COVID-19 outbreak by implementing new procedures and precautions to keep the families, patients, and employees of New York location as safe as possible. Browne stated, "Now more than ever, it's crucial that we come together to support our families and ensure a maintained sense of normalcy as they fight against pediatric cancer." 

This year, our event will honor many New York City leaders who have gone above and beyond in giving support to our Ronald McDonald House in New York and its families. 

During the celebration, guests will be able to enjoy a performance by Tony Award-winner Audra McDonald, as well as being able to hear special messages from celebrity guests like Amy Poehler, Wayne Brady, Taylor Kitsch, Sebastian Stan, William Moseley, Anthony Mackie, Santino Fontana, and ESPN Anchor and Host Mike Greenberg, plus many more. 

During these troubling times, we understand that hope is hard to hold onto. Our Ronald McDonald House in New York is working hard to ensure that every family is taken care of by providing meals and activities directly to families' rooms. In addition, the employees of the house have set up virtual programming and online support for families who need someone to talk to about what they are going through.
