Ronald McDonald House in Wauwatosa expansion: past and future

Everyone here at the Ronald McDonald House is always looking to expand our buildings to help accommodate people in the building. We are constantly looking to see what we should add to our houses. 

The Ronald McDonald House in Wauwatosa expansion ideas are an example.

Our first major expansion is the when we added a new rooms. Before 2014, the Ronald McDonald House in Wauwatosa had 37 rooms to that people can stay in. After gaining $10 million, they were able to add more rooms, with a total of 70 rooms.

The expansion also included in a few more facilities to building as well. These facilities included a music therapy room for people who need a music therapy, a fitness center for people who want to exercise, study rooms for people who need to study, and new kitchens with the latest technologies.

For the future, we want to make sure people will be comfortable in staying in the building after Covid 19. We want to make sure that people who need to go to one of our buildings once Covid 19 has passed.

We do not know what our plan for the expansion for the Ronald McDonald House in Wauwatosa yet. However, we are thinking of how adding telehealth to help patients that need help.
