The Ronald McDonald House of Oklahoma 40th Anniversary Expansion
Our Ronald McDonald House of Oklahoma just celebrated their 40th anniversary. To celebrate this anniversary, we has decided to add 40 rooms to the building.
When the Ronald McDonald House of Oklahoma first opened, it had 60 rooms to house people. When more people started coming to the Ronald McDonald House, it needed to keep expanding.
On the 20th anniversary of its opening, we were able to add 20 more rooms to accommodate the increasing number of people. Later, we were able to add 20 more rooms on the 35 anniversary.
The main problem with the Ronald McDonald House is not having enough room to have people come in. We have new people coming in everyday We hate turning people away in need. This expansion will help people who need a place to stay.
The new rooms will have kitchen for families to cook their own meals and have nice HD TVs. They would also have a salon for families to go and relax in.
We are so grateful for all the support we got to make these new expansions. It lets us help more people who need a place to stay during their hospital visits.
There was a ceremony to celebrate the opening of the new expansion. Soon, we will be able to help more people with this new expansion. We hoping we would not have to turn away people due to not having enough space and continue with our mission to help children and families have a comfortable time while staying at the hospital.
